Lakki Marwat / Peshawar / Khuzdar: The provinces affected by the violence of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Baluchistan witnessed new incidents in the last 24 hours in which a policeman hugged martyrdom, another suffered wounds while six militants were killed, the police and other sources said.
The authorities said that armed motorcyclists attacked the lower head agent Arman Khan in Miramshah Road in Bannu. “The police lost his life while the assailants escaped from the scene,” they added.
They said the policeman was deployed in security service in the judicial complex.
The body was taken to the police lines where the police officers, the local elders and the relatives of the martyr attended their funeral prayer.

Meanwhile, a police officer suffered injuries in an attack in the Chambani area near Peshawar, police said in a statement.
Thus Tariq Khan was transferred to the hospital, he said, adding that he was published at the Mera Kachorhi Research School.
Three militants were killed in a shooting with security forces in the Khyber district on Monday, the military said.
The security forces, by reported presence of militants, made an IBO in the Torra area, said an ISPR statement, added that the troops killed three militants during a shooting.
Granada attack
Five relatives of a police officer were injured in a Granada attack against his residence in Khuzdar on Monday.
The armed motorcyclists launched a grenade of hand to the house of the police station of the city of Sho, Hub, Abdul Qadir Sheikh, and escaped, Ssp Khuzdar Javed Zehri said to Sunrise.
“The Granada exploded inside the house hurting the father of the police officer and four children of his brothers,” he said, adding that some parts of the house were damaged in the incident.
The Police transferred the five injured to the Khuzdar District Hospital. Three of the injured were identified as Abdul Ghaffar, Bushra and Afshan. The father of the police officer was transferred to Karachi to receive treatment, since he had received multiple wounds.
