Sindh reported his first MPOX case on Saturday after a young man tested positive for Karachi, according to a statement from the media coordinator of the provincial Ministry of Health.
MPOX cases have been reported at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with two more positive patients on March 7. Both cases were admitted to the OPD of Dermatology at Khyber’s teaching hospital after doctors suspected that MPOX’s symptoms said authorities, the authorities said. Dawn.com.

Meeran Yousuf, media coordinator of the Sindh Ministry of Health, said in a statement today that the case was confirmed in a 29 -year -old Malir resident without a history of recent trips.
“His first beginning of the symptoms was March 15, 2025,” he said. “The patient is currently isolated in a public hospital and the Department of Health is carrying out the contact tracking and the Department of Health.”
Yousuf said Dawn.com that the Provincial Laboratory of Public Health on the Ojha Campus of the Dow University confirmed the case. He added that the patient was receiving treatment at the Jinnah postgraduate medical center.
Mpox is a significant health problem that is killing some of the most vulnerable people in the world, including children, and a way is possibly spreading in new ways and new parts of Africa.
The World Health Organization declared MPOX, previously known as Monkeypox, an emergency of international concern on August 14, 2024.
