Sindh minister Saeed Ghani’s brother, 4 others booked for allegedly assaulting ‘govt employee’ in Karachi – Pakistan

The president of the city of Chanesar, Farhan Ghani, brother of the Local Government Minister of Sindh, Saeed Ghani, was reserved along with other suspects under positions of terrorism for allegedly overcoming a “government employee” about a problem that arises from placing cables in Sharea’s panal in Karachi, emerged on Sunday.

According to a first information report (FIR) available with Dawn.comThe plaintiff said he is a government employee and performs his duties on August 22 while supervising the placement of fiber optic cable near a gasoline pump in Sharea Faisal.

“Around 4:47 pm, around 20-25 people traveling in three vehicles arrived there, in which the suspects and others were traveling,” said the FIR.

“They arrested their cars near him (the plaintiff) and called him, saying that”Sahib (Farhan Ghani) was asking ‘What permission are you digging the earth?’ “

The plaintiff responded by saying that he is a government employee, and this work is being carried out with a certificate of non -objection of government institutions, said Fir.

“Some of them (suspects) behaved badly with him and asked him to stop the job immediately,” said the FIR. “When the plaintiff said that this work was being done with the permission of all the institutions, they began using an abusive language and hitting it.”

The signed claimed that the suspects asked “why I was not stopping the work in the instructions of ‘ Sahib‘. In addition, he claimed that four or five armed suspects pointed to guns to the plaintiff.

“Subsequently, they dragged the plaintiff to a room of the gasoline pump where they kept him in illegal confinement and continued hitting him,” said the fir.

Police finally arrived at the scene and rescued the plaintiff, taking him to the Ferozeaabad Police Station, where he housed the FIR against the suspects, including Farhan.

The Fir was registered at Ferozabad Police Station Against Farhan and Four Other Suspect Common Object), 186 (obstructing public serve in discharge of public function), 324 (Attempted Murder), 337a (i) (Punishment for assault), 342 (punishment for unfair confinement), 353 (assault or criminal force to dissuade the public server of the discharge of their duty), 379 (punishment for robbery) and 506B (Punishment for criminal intimidation) of the PPC, read with section 7 (punishment for terrorism) of the Anterorism Law, 1997.

Saeed Ghani turned to X to address the situation, stating that Farhan and his “associates” had a “dispute” with someone who presented a FIR, according to their “legal right.”

“Farhan Ghani, together with all individuals, will be delivered to the authorities and will face the law, demonstrating their innocence in court,” he wrote.
