Sindh’s prime minister Murad Ali Shah condemned on Saturday the informed murder of Pakistani in Iran, expressing “deep pain and sadness for the loss of valuable lives.”
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FO), Shafqat Ali Khan, said in a statement that the ministry is aware of the incident and is in contact with the Iranian authorities.
“[We] It will comment once the facts are established and the confirmed details are available, ”reads the statement.
According to a statement from his office, the CM of Sindh said: “This is a horrible and despicable incident and we condemn it. The attack is an attempt of common enemies to spoil the relationship between Pakistan and Iran.”
CM Murad demanded an “immediate investigation into the incident and the immediate responsibility of those involved” of the Iranian government, according to the statement.
Local media reported that eight Pakistani citizens of Bahawalpur were shot dead for armed suspects in Sistan-Baluchestan, near the Pakistani border. The reports added that they were automobile mechanics.
The reports added that they were “attacked by an anti-pakistan group.”
In January last year, nine Pakistani workers were shot dead by attackers not identified in Sistan-Baluchestan near the border.
Iran MEHR The news agency reported that “according to witnesses, this morning the unknown armed men killed nine non-Iranian in a house in the Sirakan neighborhood of the city of Saravan” in Sistan-Baluchestan. Three Pakistani were also injured in the incident.
People who lost their lives in the incident were Punjab, specifically originated from the districts of fine, muzaffarh and Bahawalpur.
Last month, four Punjab workers were shot dead by unknown assailants in the Kalat district of Baluchistan, according to officials.
Meanwhile, the authorities said four people died in the Kalmat area between Pasni and Ormara after being downloaded from a passenger bus to Karachi.
“The armed men killed four passengers after reviewing their identification cards and took three others,” said a local administration official, added that they belonged to Punjab.
In February, unidentified gunmen killed seven people traveling to their native punjab after downloading them from a passenger bus, in the Barkhan district.
Last August, at least 23 people died in the district of Musakhail in Baluchistan after armed men downloaded trucks and bus passengers and shot them after verifying their identities, an official said.
“The vehicles traveling to and from Punjab were inspected, and Punjab’s people were identified and triggered,” said Musakhail Assistant Commissioner Najeb Kakar AFP.
Last April, nine people from Punjab were killed near Noshki when the gunmen forced them to leave a bus in which they were traveling and shot, the authorities said, and added that the gunmen verified the identity cards of the passengers of the bus to Taftan and kidnapped them before shooting them.
