LAHORE: According to the reports, the armed guards of a private security company fired a car rider in the underground passage of Dhampura, hit him and fled the scene, leaving a vehicle and some weapons in the spot.
A video clip of the incident went viral on social networks, showing armed security guards who escort a luxury vehicle violating the laws and weapons exhibition.
According to the clip, the traffic slowed in the underground passage when the security guards exchanged toged arguments with a car rider on the road.
More than a dozen armed men held sophisticated weapons left the double cab vehicles, hurried to the car rider and exchanged discussions with him. One of the armed men pointed to the car rider and shot. A bullet hit and crossed the body of his car.
Given this, the other motorists condemned the law of extreme violence of the attackers and went to the support of the young car pilot. The young man, later identified as Muhammad Imran through his publication on social networks, took a daring step, left his car and beat the guard who shot a shot.
The images showed that the other armed men were the support of their accomplice, publicly hit the young car, rescued the guard and fled the scene.
However, due to traffic congestion, they preferred to leave one of their vehicles and some rifles in the place/road when they observed that Dolphin’s police arrived at the site and the situation became difficult for them.
A Lahore police spokesman said that Dolphin’s police had arrived at the site as the abandoned vehicle and the weapons of the security guards fleeing were alerted and confiscated. However, the suspects could not be tracked.
Upon realizing the incident, he said, the operations of Lahore Dig Faisal Kamran issued an order to present a case under the anti -terrorism law against security guards and unidentified man who was escorted by them. He said that a police team had formed to track and arrest the attackers with the help of the roads of the safe city.
Meanwhile, the young man who was attacked made his appearance on social networks and presented himself as Muhammad Imran, a merchant by profession. He said he acted when the armed guard tried to shoot a second time and beat him.
