The security forces killed 13 terrorists on Wednesday in an intelligence -based operation (IBO) held in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Khyber’s district, said the military media wing in a statement.
According to public relations between services (ISPR), the security forces carried out the operation in the Daraman area, about the reported presence of terrorists “belonging to the Indian power, Fitna al Khwarij“
The State uses the term Fitna al Khwarij to refer to terrorists belonging to the forbidden Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). He has also designated Baluchistan -based groups as Fitna to Hindustan to highlight the supposed role of India in terrorism and destabilization throughout Pakistan.

The ISPR added that weapons and ammunition were recovered from dead terrorists, who were involved in the terrorist activity in the area.
The statement added that these terrorists were involved in “facilitation [of] A suicidal bombing attack in Daraan in December 2023, [the] Abduction and objective murder of innocent government and civil officials. ”

Pakistan has been witnessing an increase in terrorist activities, mainly in KP and Baluchistan. In November 2022, Tehreek-I-Taliban Pakistan, after breaking a high fire agreement with the government, had promised to increase attacks against security forces, police and personnel from other law agencies.
