Sangh spreading ‘cancer’, says Bapu grandson, gets heckled | India News


Thiruvananthapuram: The tension seized Neyyattinkara in the Keralam District in Kerala on Wednesday night after RSS activists organized a protest against Mahatma Gandhi’s grandson, Tushar Gandhi during the presentation of the statue of the representative of Gandhian Gopinathan Nair in his residence in his residence in his residence in his residence in his residence.
The protest was caused by Tushar’s comment during his speech that “the soul of the nation is affected by cancer, and Sangh Parivar is spreading it.”
The indignant BJP and RSS activists demanded a retraction and apology. Tushar, however, was next to his comment, and sang “Hail, Gandhi”, before leaving. The protesters shouted slogans and blocked their car, but Tushar refused to go back and countered with slogans as “Down With RSS” and “Long Live Gandhi”, before leaving the place.
The Congress condemned RSS-BJP activists, with the state chief of the K Sudhakaran party accusing them of being persecuted by the “(nathuram) Godse’s Ghost”. He also questioned CPM’s silence about the incident.
