An Islamabad court extended on Friday the physical return of the main suspect in the case of murder of healthy social networks Yousaf for another three days.
The Islamabad Police had arrested Umar Hayat, the main suspect in the murder of the 17 -year -old, on June 3, almost a day after they killed her at home in the Federal Capital. The police had affirmed that the man murdered healthy because she repeatedly rejected her advances.
Hayat was presented to the judicial magistrate Mohammad Hafeez at the end of his four -day physical prison. His 14 -day judicial prison in Adiala’s prison for his identification parade had already been completed, with the victim’s mother and aunt identifying him.
The Deputy Public Prosecutors of the District (DDPP) Adnan Ali and Raja Naveed Hussain, together with the investigation officer (IO) Mazhar Bashir Khan, appeared on behalf of the State before magistrate Hafeez.
Hussain informed the judge that the vehicle used by the suspect had been recovered, while his phone had not yet stopped. “The suspect is quite intelligent and understands the severity of the crime, so it does not let us recover his mobile phone,” he said.
Io Bashir asked the court to extend the preventive detention of the man arrested for seven days to obtain more “investigation and recovery,” according to the written order.
However, the magistrate approved the preventive detention for another three days, ordering the police to produce the suspect before the court on June 23.
The healthy phone and the murderer had been recovered from the suspect’s possession when it was arrested.
“The ruthless murderer took the phone with him after the murder to destroy the evidence. To stop the accused, raids were carried out in more than 11 locations in three cities. The defendant is an 22 -year -old unemployed man who tried to repeatedly contact the victim. To his denial to respond, he committed the murder,” said the police.
The incident had caused generalized indignation throughout the country, including citizens, celebrities and even the daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari, MNA ASEEFA.
