NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha The speaker Om Birla on Thursday warned of the independent parliamentarian Pappu Yadav against putting his arms Minister of Civil Aviation of the Union RAM Mohan Naidu while the procedures were underway.
Yadav, sitting next to Naidu, dedicated himself to an animated conversation and briefly placed his arm around the minister’s shoulder, which led Birla to intervene.
The sources indicated that Yadav was arguing an airport for his parliamentary constituency, Purnia in Bihar. The precaution of Birla occurred one day after the leader Rahul Gandhi remained the leader who kept the decorum of the house.
On Wednesday, Birla had told Rahul Gandhi to adhere to the rules that are expected to parliamentarians to defend the dignity of the Chamber, a comment that the Congress leader then called “without foundation.”
“You are expected to keep the High Decorum Parameters And the holiness of the house, “Birla had said, addressing Gandhi.” There are several incidents in my knowledge when the behavior of the parliamentarians did not agree to defend the high parameters of the decorum. Fathers, daughters, mothers, wives and husbands have been members of this house. So, in this context, I hope the LOP will perform according to the rules … it is expected especially from the LOP to maintain its behavior. “
