Relative of 4 found dead in Tennessee says her family ‘trusted’ murder suspect who’s on the run

A relative of four people found dead in Tennessee described his family this week as disconsolate and confused, saying Thursday on Facebook that the suspect has “literally no less surprising for us and our children.”

The statement, written by a woman who identified as the sister -in -law and the aunt of three victims, was posted after the Tennessee investigation office identified the suspect as Austin Robert Drummond, 29.

Drummond, who is sought by first -degree murder positions, aggravated kidnapping and crimes of firearms, remains in general and must be considered armed and dangerous, said the agency in a press release.

It is believed that Drummond, who was added to the “most wanted” list of the state, conducts an Audi A3 2016. A $ 15,000 reward for information that leads to his arrest is offered.

The authorities have not identified a possible reason.

The author of the Facebook publication, who said she is married to the brother of one of the victims, did not respond to messages on the platform or telephone numbers associated with her. NBC News verified its Facebook profile.

The victims, found on Tuesday in the northwest Lake County of Tennessee, were identified as Matthew Wilson, 21; Adrianna Williams, 20; Courtney Rose, 38; and Braydon Williams, 15.

They were relatives of a baby discovered in the front courtyard of a house in the nearby Dyer County that afternoon, according to Danny Goodman, district prosecutor of Lake and Dyer’s counties. The boy was alive and was being evaluated, the authorities said.

The authorities have not said how the four died. Memphis’s NBC WMC affiliate reported that they were discovered in a wooded area in Tiptonville, approximately 40 miles north of the area where the baby was found.

Dyer County Sheriff’s office said the child was abandoned and that a witness saw the baby in a car seat and scored 911.

In Thursday’s Facebook publication, the relative wrote that his family thought he knew Drummond well.

“We all trust him,” he wrote.

According to the post, Drummond previously came out in a sister of Rose, the grandmother of the abandoned child. Wilson and Adrianna Williams were the baby’s parents, said Goodman. Braydon was the maternal uncle.

“Yes, he was close to our family,” says the post. “Yes, we care about him and we thought he cared for us. He has literally been incredible to us and our children every time he has close us until this moment.”

“We never hope you will cause any damage to anyone, much less to anyone in our family,” the publication continues. “We are disconsolate. We are confused. We are devastated. We are mortified. We are suffering. Our children are suffering.”

“We want justice for my sister -in -law, niece, nephew and boyfriend of nieces,” adds the publication.

Public records show that Drummond was sentenced by armed robbery in Madison County in 2014. His sentence ended last September, as shown in prison records.

Two months after the end of that sentence, Drummond was accused of attempted murder and drug crimes, the judicial records in the Lake County show. Goodman said the accusations were related to crimes that he is accused of committing while he was imprisoned in the Northwest Correctional Complex, a prison in Lake County.

Drummond was on bail for those charges at the time of quadruple murder, said Goodman. His lawyer in the case of murder attempt did not respond immediately to a request for comments.
