Police say that an explosive device that opened the door of the Office of the Circumscription of a Minister of the British Columbia Cabinet in North Vancouver was “little sophisticated” and “homemade.”
CPL. Mansoor Sahak with the RCMP of northern Vancouver said the device was probably a series of bangers or fireworks attached and illuminated by a fuse.
The explosive shot right after 4 in the morning outside the infrastructure Minister of the Office of Infrastructure, Bowinn Ma, on June 27.
Police have published photos, hoping that the public recognizes the two male suspects.
One describes as a white man with short and bald hair, a robust construction, with a black jacket, a dark shirt and blue jeans.
The other suspect is described as a white man with a thin construction that wore a long and blonde wig and a dark sweatshirt.
There were two explosions in the area near the same time, and Sahak said they believe that the two men were also responsible for damaging a street sign that morning.
He said that the reason for the attack is still unknown, but the police do not believe they have the intention of hurting anyone. For now, the police say they are looking to recommend possible pranks.
