Rachin Ravindra hit an excellent 112 to take New Zealand to the semifinals of Champions Trophy on Monday with a five WICKET victory over Bangladesh and, in turn, the dump houses Pakistan out of the semifinal career.
The result in Rawalpindi also assured the semifinal position of India in the 50 -50 tournament when Bangladesh became the other team of Group A to be knocked out.
Both New Zealand and India have two victories of two games and now they will meet in Dubai on Sunday to decide team one and two of the group.
Pakistan, who won the previous edition of the Champions Trophy in 2017, lost to New Zealand and then in India in the first event of the International Cricket Council (ICC) organized from the 1996 World Cup ODI.
India refused to travel Pakistan due to political reasons and, on the other hand, is playing all his games in Dubai, which will be the host of the final if Asian giants go to distance.
