The advisor of the Prime Minister of Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, urged PTI on Sunday to organize his next national protest movement on any day that is not on August 14, since it is the day of independence and must be held with the United Nation as one.
On August 6, a message was published about the founder of PTI and the X account X of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, asking the PTI to “take to the streets with all its strength against the ongoing fascism in our beloved homeland.” That message came following the failed protests of the PTI on August 5.
Talk about Geographical news ‘Naya Pakistan program with Shahzad Iqbal’, Sanaullah said he had no problem with the protest, but expressed concerns about the moment.
“Protesting is your right, but doing it on August 14 would be annoying and against our traditions,” he said.
“On August 14, the Nation will celebrate [Independence Day] With Zeal, but the opposition has planned something that day. They should not have their movement or protest on August 14; Do it 15, 16 or 13.
The prime minister’s advisor praised the opposition parties for “being united” and “having coordination”, but raised a problem with them to launch protests on national vacations.
“August 5 was the day of exploitation,” Sanoullah said, referring to the day observed by Pakistan to mark the movement of the Indian government to the lame occupied by autonomy.
“The nation was standing with their Kashmir brothers and paid tribute to the Kashmir martyrs that day. They (the PTI) announced a great movement, and nothing ended up happening,” he said.
On August 5, the Police arrested PTI protesters throughout the country after party activists took to the streets to officially begin a national movement for the launch of Imran, which has been in jail for two years.
Said said the deputy inspector of Lahore (operations) Faisal Kamran Dawn.com: “More than 30 PTI activists who tried to block roads in different areas of the city were arrested.” He denied the reports that the police arrested hundreds of activists.
Meanwhile, the president of PTI Baluchistan, Dawood Shah Kakar, said that “several” PTI workers, including five leaders, were arrested after meeting in a place in the district of Baluchistan Kohlu for protest.
The Rawalpindi administration prohibited all assemblies and meetings until August 10 under section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, citing an “imminent threat.”
The general secretary of Pti Salman Akram Raja, Tehreek Tahafuz Ayin-I-Pakistan (TTAP) Chief Mahmood Achkazai, Mna Shandana Gulzar and others left for the Adiala jail, where Imran is imprisoned, but the Punjab police stopped them, with the TTAP sharing a video of Achakzai’s Exchange with the exchange of the staff.
The senior leader of PTI, Asad Qaiser, announced that the second phase of the PTI efforts would take place on August 14, after which the game planned to go to Sindh. “We will unite the entire country to get rid of this oppressive government,” he added.
