Radiohead has unearthed rare images of a 1995 solo performance of its main singer Thom Yorke in Toronto to commemorate three decades since the launch of his beloved second year album The curves – And yes, he is giving us all the sensations.
“We found this THOM VHS tape acting at Horseshoe Travern, Toronto in 1995,” the band wrote on his Instagram page on Friday.
The five songs acoustic set includes Good dream, tall and dry, street spirit (fading) and False plastic treesof the album, as well as Thinking of you Of your debut Pablo Honey.
“Hello, I am a type of a band that thought you would want to hear me play,” Yorke tells the audience before immersing himself in the set.
“So these are some songs to help your beer decrease.”
The performance is just another iconic show in the historical history of The Horseshoe: of course, it is the place with the “chess board floors” that the hip tragically would later be made reference in its classic Bobcaygeon of 1999.
