The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, requested on Friday a “transition administration” in Ukraine and promised that his army “would end” the Ukrainian troops, in tough line comments while the president of the United States, Donald Trump, presses by a high fire.
An approach between Washington and Moscow since Trump’s return to office and the threats of the United States leader to stop supporting kyiv have reinforced Putin’s confidence more than three years in an offensive that has killed tens of thousands on both sides.

Moscow has also questioned the “legitimacy” of Zelensky as Ukrainian president, after his five -year initial mandate ended in May 2024.

When asked about Putin’s comments later on Friday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he was motivated by what Moscow sees how the “total lack of control” of the Ukrainian leadership about the army, which he accused of trying to attack the “daily” energy sites.

Meanwhile, the Kremlin has begun to attack Europe, presenting its leaders such as blocking progress between Russia and the United States about possible detention towards fighting.
Peskov criticized EU’s refusal on Friday to consider eliminating sanctions to a Russian agricultural bank as a previous condition to restore an agreement on a safe step in the Black Sea.
“If European countries do not want to follow this path, it means that they do not want to follow the path of peace in unison with the efforts shown in Moscow and Washington,” said Peskov.
