Punjab police arrest 5 suspects in Muzaffargarh child gang rape case – Pakistan

The Punjab police arrested five suspects on Saturday for their alleged participation in a child’s group violation in Muzaffarh, according to an official statement.

“A case has been registered against the defendants at Shah Jamal Police Station in Muzaffarh,” said a police spokesman.

The first Information Report (FIR) was recorded in sections 375-A (PG-Hang violation) and 377-B (sexual abuse of a minor) of the Pakistan Criminal Code (PPC).

“The suspects took a child minor to a mango garden and abused him from,” added the spokesman.

Previously, the Muzafargarh district police officer, Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Khan, also realized group violation in the Shah Jamal Police Station area, according to the spokesman.

On Friday, Punjab police claimed to have arrested three of the four men who allegedly violated a 16 -year -old girl after kidnapping her in Chak 437 GB, Samundri in the Faisalabad district.

Last month, Punjab police had also arrested three suspects to allegedly violate a woman in Lahore.
