Protests erupt outside Los Angeles Home Depot amid federal enforcement operations

The protests explode when the United States Attroney say that federal operations of application of the law ‘procedure as planned’

A protest broke out in Los Angeles today when the main federal prosecutor in the region said that federal law operations were “proceeding as planned” throughout the county.

“I urge the public to refrain from interfering with these legal actions. Anyone that obstructs federal agents will face arrests and prosecution,” said Bill Ensayli, US prosecutor of the Central District of California.

At least 30 officers could be seen with tactical and gas tactical masks located on the street from a home in Paramount, south of the center of Los Angeles.

It was not clear immediately for which agency the officers work or why they were there.

The shopping carts were planted in streets full of smoke occupied by dozens of people. Some seemed to throw things towards the officers. At one time, a fire was lit on the street.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department said it was on the scene “to help maintain peace but not get involved with any arrest or arrest.”
