The general secretary of the PPP, Humayun Khan, supported on Friday the inclusion of all interested parties, including the PTI in the diplomatic delegation, will represent the country in important world capitals after the increase in hostilities with India.
Last week, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif decided to send a “high -level diplomatic delegation to important world capitals to expose Indian propaganda” after the recent military escalation with India, administered by the State Pakistan radio reported.
Speaking in him Dawnnewstv ‘Doosra Rukh’ program, when asked if PTI must also be included in the delegation, Khan said: “All interested parties are welcome to get this country out of this crisis.”
“We need to be on a page and fight against the country’s case. Prime Minister [Shehbaz] Sahib has made the right decision by choosing Bilawal [Bhutto-Zardari] Sahib to continue fighting the case of Pakistan in international forums, ”added Khan.
The military confrontation between New Delhi and Islamabad occurred when the tensions about Pahalgam’s attack last month continued to increase, since India, without evidence, blamed Pakistan for the attack. On the night of May 6 to 7, India launched a series of air attacks in Punjab and Azad Kashmir, which resulted in Civil Low. Islamabad responded by demolishing five Indian planes.
After intercepting drones sent by India and Tit-For-Tat attacks in the other air bases, an American intervention was needed on May 10 for both parties to finally drop their weapons and declare a stop the fire. Since then, India has continued its aggressive position, even when Pakistan warned of any additional military aggression and offered conversations.
In light of the situation, Prime Minister Shehbaz decided to send a high -level diplomatic delegation to important capital’s capitals to counteract Indian propaganda related to climbing and the attack of the pahalgama.
When the formation of the delegation was announced: “In a telephone conversation with the president of PPP, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the prime minister has entrusted the leadership of the delegation,” Pakistan radio reported.
The delegation includes Dr. Musadik Malik, engineer Khurram Dastgir, Senator Sherry Rehman, Hina Rabbani Khar, Faisal Subzwari, Tehmina Janjua and Jalil Abbas Jilani, added.
“The delegation will visit London, Washington, Paris and Brussels to highlight the disinformation campaign of India and its attempts to destabilize regional peace,” the report had added.
In a similar development, the Indian government also announced that seven delegations from all parties would visit key partners, including members of the UN Security Council, at the end of this month to present the country’s position on terrorism and the “national consensus of the Indian project.”
