The bank of Judge Pradeep Singh Yerur was reviewing Yediyurappa’s request to dismiss the charges and pointed out the need for thorough investigation and, subsequently, remained both in the summons and the recognition of the court.
The main lawyer CV Nagesh, who represents Yediyurappa, said a provisional relief prior granted by the Superior Court. He clarified that the IT section in the FIR would apply to the plaintiff, not Yediyurappa, since the conversation remained intact on the mobile phone of the victim’s mother.
The charges depended on the victim’s statements and her mother. Lawyer Nages said the complaint arrived at the Police Commissioner a month after the alleged occurrence.
The case refers to inappropriate contact accusations on February 2, 2024.
The CID presented its charges on June 27, 2024, to a special fast -track court. The charging sheet appoints Yediyurappa and three others under the sections of the Pocso and IPC law, including 354 (A), 204 and 214. According to the charges, when the plaintiff sought assistance regarding the assault of his 17 -year -old daughter, Yediyurappa supposedly committed.
The document establishes that after publications on social networks about the incident, intermediaries organized a meeting in which Yediyurappa provided RS 2 Lakh, supposedly leading to the elimination of related media. The victim’s mother died on May 26, 2024 in Bengaluru due to health problems.
Yediyurappa had said: “A mother and daughter were found near my residence, looking distressed. By compassion, I called them to ask about their situation. I even called the Bengaluru police commissioner to help them. However, they began to make accusations against me.
Although the HC previously granted concessions regarding the apparitions in the Court, had not suspended the case. The general lawyer Shashikiran Shetty opposed relief for Yediyurappa, emphasizing that the previous HC order simply excused the appearances in the court without stopping the procedures.
The First Fast Via Court of Bengaluru issued a summons on February 28, requiring the presence of Yediyurappa on March 15. The decision of the court followed the review of the police officer sheet. Yediyurappa had previously received the immunity of HC with respect to the citation.
On February 7, the HC declined to dismiss the charges against him and gave him an early bond, avoiding the arrest. The new FTC call raised possible legal consequences.
