PM Modi launches over Rs 33,700 crore development projects in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur, flags off MEMU train service | India News


BILASPUR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched several important development projects in Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh, which is worth more than 33,700 million rupees, which cover sectors such as energy, oil and gas, rail, road, education and housing.
PM Modi also distributed keys to beneficiaries under the PM Awas Yojana.
The prime minister also pointed out the Memu Trains Service In the Rail Abhanpur-Raipur section and dedicated the complete electrification of the Indian rail network in the state.
Prime Minister Modi laid the base stone of the Sipat Super Themal project of NTPC (1x800MW) in Bilaspur, with a value of more than RS 9,790 million rupees. He also dedicated three PowerGrid power transmission projects under the expansion scheme of the western region (WRES) worth more than RS 560 million rupees.
Prime Minister Modi established the stone of the base for the gas distribution project (CGD) of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) in the districts of Korea, Surajpur, Balrampur and Surgex. In addition, he placed the base stone of the Visakh-Raipur (VRPL) project of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL), which covers 540 km and is worth more than RS 2210 million rupees.
He also announced the improvement of the Kondagoon-Narayanpur section of NH-130d (47.5 km) two lanes with a paved shoulder.
The prime minister also dedicated two emblematic educational initiatives: 130 PM SHRI schools in 29 state districts and Vidya Samiksha Kendra (VSK) in Raipur.
Chhattisgarh’s prime minister, Vishnu Deo, congratulated Prime Minister Modi with a traditional state of the state and an idol of Bellas Bell Metal, after whom the city of Bilaspur is appointed.
Early in the day, Prime Minister Modi visited Nagpur, where he paid tribute to the founder of RSS Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in the Smruti Mandir, the RSS headquarters, and made a road show. It also inaugurated the MERODERA MORODERA Test Range at the Limited Sun and Aerospace Defense Installation.
The visit of Prime Minister Modi Nagpur coincided with Varsha Pratipada, Hedgewar’s birth anniversary. He was accompanied by the head of RSS Mohan Bhagwat, the minister of the Union Nitin Gadkari and the Prime Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis.
