He requested legal procedures against Aleema, Panjutha and the other suspects.

In Repense, Panjutha described the FIR a “false case” against him and Aleema.

Secting the incident, the information minister, Attaullah Tarar, said that Baloch was the objective of violence “only and only for a difference of opinion, which is unacceptable.”

He said that strict measures would be taken and promised to give full support.

PPP leaders such as President Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, Nadeem Afzal Chan and the mayor of Karachi, Murtaza Wahab, also condemned the incident.

The president of Karachi Press Club, Fazil Jamili, said the incident was “unfortunate and condemnable.” He added that “this new tendency will not end unless political parties actively discourage. We must remember that politics and journalism rise and fall together.”
