Tens of thousands of fans of Philadelphia Eagles covered were aligned with the famous Broad street of the city on Friday to encourage their beloved birds while parading with their guest of honor: the Lombardi trophy.
The Eagles captured their second Super Bowl in eight seasons on Sunday, dominating the twice champion that Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22, defended in the Superdome in New Orleans.
The victory parade begins at 11 AM EST, near Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, in the shadows of their home in Lincoln Financial Field.
The moving party will run north on Broad Street, taking 15 street, John F. Kennedy Boulevard, 16th Street and Benjamin Franklin Parkway before finishing in the apron of the Museum of Art of Philadelphia.
The museum is closed on Friday and the formal program is ready to start at 2 pm
