Paragliding activities across Goa suspended

“All operators involved in paragliding, motorized and non -motorized activities have been asked to present the documentation prescribed to the department for inspection,” Naik said. However, an interested party said that the Tourism Department lacks paraglined experts that can verify if paragliding operators comply with safety standards.
The paragliding is a high -risk adventure sport that depends on wind, altitude, temperature and several other parameters that cannot be checked by documentation, said the interested party.
