The president of the PPP, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, said on Tuesday that Pakistan’s resolution was for freedom and not for conflict, in the midst of the growing tensions with India following a militant attack in busy Kashmir.
An attack on April 22 in Pahalgam killed 26 people, mostly tourists, in one of the most mortal assaults since 2000. India has involved cross -border links without evidence. Pakistan has firmly rejected the claim and has asked for a neutral investigation.
Since then, the tensions have shot themselves, with Pakistan reinforcing their forces, since he expected an incursion and the prime minister of India that grants “operational freedom” to his military. As temperatures remain high, with the military warning of a “rapid” response to any misfortune from New Delhi, diplomatic channels have remained compromised to avoid conflicts.
Speaking today during the National Assembly session, Bilawal said: “Pakistan did not have a hand in that crime. We do not export terror, we are victims of terrorism.”
He refuted India’s claims about fighting terrorism, saying: “How can you fight terrorism while practicing state terrorism in Kashmir?”
He said that Pakistan suffered from terrorism “sponsored by abroad, ideologically driven and brutally indiscriminate.” “We have buried our soldiers and schools … We have fought against the threat not only with weapons but with ideas, education, economic reforms and unity.”
Bilawal continued: “Terrorism cannot be defeated only by a tank, it must be defeated with justice. It cannot be uprooted by bullets, it must be disarmed with hope. It cannot be defeated by demonizing nations but addressing the complaints that give birth.”
He asked India and Pakistan to work together, stating: “The challenge of the prime minister to India for impartial investigation is a beginning.
“Why would a true horror victim avoid responsibility?, Unless you worry that the true fault of bloodstifing in Kashmir is in Delhi and not in Islamabad.”
The PPP leader also said: “If India wishes to walk on the path of peace, let them come with open hands and not tight fists. Let them come with facts and not manufacture. Let’s feel like neighbors and tell the truth.
“If not … then remember that the people of Pakistan are not made of kneeling. The people of Pakistan have the determination to fight, not because we love the conflict, but because we love freedom.”
He said: “Let India decide. Will it be dialogue or destruction? Cooperation or confrontation?”
A day before, the NA unanimously approved a resolution that condemns the illegal and unilateral declaration of India to maintain the treaty of the Indo waters in suspense in shameless violation of the treaty.
The resolution said that the murder of innocent civilians was contrary to the values confirmed by Pakistan, and the NA rejected all the “frivolous and unfounded attempts” to link Pakistan with Pahalgam’s attack.
The legislators condemned the “orchestrated campaign and bad relief” for the Indian government to Malignant Pakistan, which “follows a family pattern of exploiting the issue of terrorism for a narrow political objective.”
The “excuse” of India’s accusations to further suppress assumes: Amir Muqam
Amir Muqam, Federal Minister of the Affairs of Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir and the border regions, said that India’s accusations against Pakistan were an “excuse” to suppress even more to those of the busy Kashmir.
“[Indian Prime Minister Narendra] Modi thought he could throw accusations, giving an excuse to suppress the people of Kashmir even more and prevent Pakistan from providing them with moral, political and diplomatic support. “
“We are a nation and we are with Pakistan’s army,” he said, adding that Modi made accusations against Pakistan to “hide his own weaknesses.”
Praised the passion of the nation, saying: “Each of us [Pakistani] He is a soldier. They (India) would have to fight everyone. “
The minister reiterated the offer of a transparent investigation into the incident, added: “India has not responded to this.”
“The entire world can see that Indian accusations have no truth,” he added.
Tarar says ‘This is an opportunity in which we talk with one voice’
Taking the floor, the information minister, Attaullah Tarar, said that Kashmir still identified his loyalty with Pakistan, even when the country’s politicians were bogged down in the internal dispute. “This is an opportunity in which we talk with one voice,” he emphasized.
He called the Pahlgham incident as a “false flag operation” and a failure of “security and intelligence” of India.
He questioned the credibility of India’s claims that Pakistan was involved since the incident’s first information report was presented “at the request of the teachers” 10 minutes after the attack despite the fact that the police arrived at the site of the attack 1.5 hours later. “
Referred to international media as Al Jazeerahe Economistand New York Times stating that “India has no evidence to link Pakistan with this incident.”
Tarar said that Pahalgham’s attack is the only opportunity in which we must present a “united voice.”
He added that “Kashmira is the jugular vein of Pakistan” and said that India is trying to divert the attention of the world of Kashmir’s theme blaming Pakistan for Pahalgham.
He said that India should be ashamed of blaming a country that is a “first -line state against terrorists” and is serving as a “wall between the world and terrorists.”
“Are we victims of terrorism, we also fight terrorism and then blame us for terrorism?” asked.
The information minister also said that the Pakistani nation has always delivered an overwhelming defeat to the enemy. He said: “We are not aggressors, but if the enemy resorts to any misfortune, he will face such a response from our armed forces that his generations come will remember.” Pakistan radio reported.
