A Pakistani citizen who illegally resides in the United States has been deported after his removal was ordered before, the immigration authorities in Dallas, said Texas.
The development occurs in the midst of an offensive against illegal immigration launched after President Donald Trump assumed the position, with hundreds of arrested and deported.
The Pakistani were also among a group of almost 100 migrants deported from the United States to Panama last month.
The United States immigration and customs application (ICE) in Dallas “eliminated” Syed Rizvi, 56, to his country of origin on February 25, the department said in a statement issued on February 28.
“Rizvi resided in Dallas, Texas, without authorization before his removal,” said the statement.
The Pakistani man was deported from the United States “after being identified by the United States intelligence sources as a national security priority, designated as removable according to the immigration and nationality law,” ICE said.
His removal was ordered by an immigration judge on January 24, ICE said. Subsequently, it was arrested for the operations of application and elimination of Dallas (ERO) on January 31, after a routine traffic stop.
Rizvi had legally entered the United States on September 20, 2017 near the New York entrance port and violated the terms of his admission, said Ice.
The ICE department provided an aid line in which the United States residents could contact to inform suspicious crimes and activities, or could complete an online form.
