Pakistan will be the host of South Africa for a series of test matches, International one day (ODI) and twenty -one international years (T20I) from October to November, the Crick Board of Pakistan (PCB) announced on Saturday.
In a press release, the PCB said that the new Pakistan cycle of the ICC World Test Championship will begin with this visit of the proteins, with the first test from October 12 in Lahore.
“The first test will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from October 12 to 16, which will also be the first five -day match in the stadium since its complete renewal earlier this year to organize the ICC Champions Trophy 2025,” said the PCB. “The second test match is scheduled for the Rawalpindi Cricket stadium from October 20 to 24”.
According to the press release, this will be the first tour of the visitors to Pakistan since 2021, where they lost a series of 2-0 tests.
“At the end of the red ball games, both parties will present in three T20I from October 28 to November 1, and the first T20I takes place in the Cricket Rawalpindi stadium, while the remaining two T20s will be presented at the Gaddafi Stadium,” said the press release.
“The series will conclude with three hate that will take place from November 4 to 8 at the IQBAL stadium in Faisalabad.”
The PCB declared that this will be the first hate played at the IQBAL stadium in 17 years, and the last game was held on April 11, 2008, when Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by seven WICKETS.
The PCB operations director, Sumair Ahmed Syed, said he was anxious to organize South Africa, adding that the host of the World Testing Champions “will provide a quality Cricket for our players and fans.”
