On Friday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs firmly rejected the “unfounded and deceitful comments” made by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his first visit to the Kashmir controlled by India after the attack of the Pahalgama.
The Indian prime minister arrived today to the occupied valley to open a strategic railway line.
According to the Indian media, Modi, during his visit, said that Pakistan attacked ‘Insaniyat ‘and Kashmiriyat‘(Humanity and the identity of Kashmir) in Pahalgam.
The Indian prime minister claimed that Pakistan was “also the enemy of Poor’s Breed and Butter.”
He warned that anyone who tries to derail in Kashmiro development controlled by India would have to “face Narendra Modi first.”
In response, Fo said: “Pakistan firmly rejects the unfounded and deceitful comments made by India’s prime minister about the situation in Jammu and Kashmir illegally occupied.”
He added that such statements represented a “deliberate attempt to divert international attention from the serious and persistent human rights violations that are committed in a territory under foreign occupation.”
“We are deeply dismayed that the Indian Prime Minister has once again chosen Pakistan of participation in Pahalgam’s attack, without presenting a single credible evidence,” Fo said in his statement.
“Jammu and Kashmira are still an internationally recognized territory, whose final state will be determined in accordance with the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council and the will of the People of Cashmira,” he said, and added that no amount of rhetoric could change the legal and historical reality.
“Development statements in Iojk cancel Hollow in the context of an unprecedented military presence, suppression of fundamental freedoms, arbitrary arrests and a concerted effort to alter the demography of the region in violation of international law, including the fourth gin convention,” said Fo.
Fo asked the international community, including UN organizations and human rights, to hold India for their oppression and ensure that the “people of the Kashmir can exercise their right inalienable to self -determination, as considered in the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council.”
“Pakistan remains firm in his support for principles for the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their fair struggle for their rights and dignity,” said Fo.
Modi’s visit follows a recent military confrontation between India and Pakistan about the accusations of New Delhi against Islamabad, without evidence, about a deadly attack on the pahalgama of occupied Kashmir.
When New Delhi launched air attacks in early May, killing civilians, Pakistan knocked down five Indian aircraft in retaliation. After attacks in the air bases, an American intervention was needed on May 10 so that both parties finally reached a fire.
