Pakistan reacted responsibly despite India’s provocative actions: PM Shehbaz – Pakistan

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Saturday that Pakistan’s reaction had been responsible and measured so far despite the provocative actions of India after severe tensions between the two countries following the incident of Pahalgam.

The April 22 attack in Pahalgam killed 26 people, mostly tourists, in one of the most mortal assaults since 2000. India has implied cross -border links without evidence, while Pakistan has rejected the claim and has requested a neutral investigation.

Since then, the tensions have shot themselves, with Pakistan reinforcing their forces and the first principal of India that grants “operational freedom” to the military. The prime minister reiterated that Pakistan had always condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The prime minister emphasized that India had not shared any evidence and was falsely trying to link Pakistan with the Pahalgam incident, according to the statement.

“India has not yet responded to Pakistan’s offer to have a credible, transparent and neutral international investigation to determine the facts behind the Pahalgam incident,” he said, adding that Pakistan would completely cooperate with that investigation and appreciate if Turkiye joined him.

The prime minister also stressed that Pakistan had made great sacrifices in his anti -terrorist efforts, including 90,000 victims and more than $ 152 billion in economic losses over the years.

He also said that India’s actions would distract Pakistan from his anti -terrorist efforts.

Prime Minister Shehbaz expressed his gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his strong statement that supported Pakistan during the prevailing situation in southern Asia, as well as his call to peace in the region.

The prime minister said that Turkiye’s support reflected the “historical, deep and proven in time” between the two countries and their peoples.

He reaffirmed the government’s approach to economic recovery and growth, so he required peace and security in his neighborhood.

The Turkish ambassador informed the prime minister that Turkiye appreciated the position of Pakistan and expressed his solidarity with Pakistan while asking for a scale and urges the restriction in the current crisis of maintaining peace and security in southern Asia.

Diplomatic commitments of FM Dar

Separately, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability, while protected his sovereignty and national interests in a telephone conversation with the Greek counterpart George Gerapetritis.

FM Dar informed him about current regional developments, categorically rejecting “accusations without foundation, the disinformation campaign and illegal unilateral measures” that threatened regional peace and security.

“He strongly condemned the unilateral decision of India to celebrate the Treaty of the Water of the Indo in suspense, a shameless violation of its international obligations,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (FO) in a press release.

Giving reiterated Pakistan’s call to an independent and transparent investigation to establish the facts.

FM Gerapetritis emphasized the importance of restriction to prevent climbing and preserve peace and stability. He welcomed Pakistan’s proposal for a neutral and transparent investigation.

Both leaders agreed to maintain close coordination in regional and global developments, particularly in multilateral forums, including their participation as non -permanent members of the UN Security Council.

FM Dar also celebrated a telephone conversation with the Swiss federal councilor and Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis.

He informed FM Cassis about the regional security situation in evolution, “expressing a serious concern about the recent provocative actions of India, including the accusations without foundation, inflammatory propaganda and its unilateral decision to maintain the Water Treaty of the Indo in suspense, a violation of international legal obligations,” he said in a press release.

Giving Pakistan’s call reiterated to an independent and transparent international investigation to establish the facts and underlined Pakistan’s commitment to exercise restrictions in the interest of regional peace and security, while reserving the right to protect his sovereignty and national interests.

FM Cassis appreciated Pakistan’s commitment to peace and supported his proposal for investigation.

He expressed the preparation of Switzerland to offer his good offices and explore the appropriate mechanisms to facilitate impartial investigation.

The two leaders agreed to remain in close contact on the evolutionary situation.

PM haq accuses India to maneuver to create disturbances in Ajk

Meanwhile, Azad Jammu Cashmiro Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwarul Haq said on Friday that India was plotting conspiracies to create disturbances in the territory.

In his speech to the Kashmir Conference of all the parties organized in the state metropolis, he warned: “If India attacks Pakistan, we will respond with all its strength. India is actively planning to destabilize AJK.”

He stressed that Pakistan’s political leadership must demonstrate total solidarity and support the armed forces against Indian aggression.

Reaffirming his position on the subject of Kashmir, Haq said that his narrative attracted the strength of the people of Pakistan, the armed forces and the military leadership of the country.

He said that a single action of the Indian government had returned the situation to what it was before August 5, 2019.

“The release cell is ready to support whether the political leadership of the Conference forum of all Kashmir parties wants to participate in the protest demonstration,” AJK’s prime minister said.

“With regard to Kashmir’s policy, we are open for debate and ready to eliminate any deficiency,” he said.

“We have to think about how to carry out the subject of Kashmir, so we have lost three generations,” he said.

Highlighting the importance of national unity, Haq said: “The enemy attacks you only when he thinks that the nation is divided.”
