‘Pakistan-India Asia Cup clash will go ahead’ – Sport

Dubai: The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) is confident that Pakistan-India’s high voltage clash in the Asia Cup will continue.

The neighbors have disagreed since a terrorist attack in the Cashmiro Pahalgama occupied a brief war and saw Crick’s relations between the two nations of the nose.

Recently, two matches of the World Legends championship between the two countries were canceled when the Indian champions players decided not to play against their Pakistan counterparts.

The Asia Cup was originally scheduled to be organized in India, but moved to the EAU due to tensions between the two countries.

India and Pakistan have been attracted to the same group in the Asia Cup. With a super four phase and a final to follow, they may face three times in Dubai between September 14 and 28.

And with just over a remaining month before the start of the tournament, the ECB operations director, Subhan Ahmed, has suggested that it is very unlikely that the two teams avoid playing each other in the Asia Cup.

“We cannot make any guarantee, but comparing the Asia Cup with a private event like WCL is not a similar comparison,” said Subhan for The National newspaper.

“When decisions are made to play in the Asia Cup, government permits are taken in advance. That has definitely been done before arriving at the decision to announce the schedule for the countries. Therefore, I hope we will not be in a situation such as in the WCL.”
