A statement of public relations between services (ISPR) said that Islamabad organized the Regional Personnel Conference of the Defense Chiefs under the issue of ‘strengthening of ties, ensuring peace’ today, attended by senior military officials of the United States, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzista, Tajikistan and Uzbequistan.
The ISPR said Coas Munir formally welcomed the distinguished Defense Delegations and reaffirmed Pakistan’s firm commitment to peace, stability and constructive commitment throughout the region.
“In an era defined by transnational threats and complex hybrid challenges, the imperative of a deeper military cooperation, strategic dialogue and mutual trust is essential. Pakistan remains completely committed to working with associated nations to build a safe and prosperous regional environment,” was summoned by the affirmation of a safe and prosperous regional environment. “
The ISPR said that session participants also discussed regional security dynamics, the evolutionary security environment in Central and South Asia and the need for joint training initiatives, anti -terrorism cooperation and coordinated humanitarian responses.
“This historical multilateral commitment marked a significant step towards the progress of regional security cooperation, military diplomacy and strategic dialogue between participating nations,” said the statement.
According to the ISPR, the conference sought to strengthen security collaborations, improve training initiatives and exchange best practices in counterterrorism and other defense and security programs.
The military media wing added that participants collectively reaffirmed their resolution to defend peace, respect, national sovereignty and face common security threats such as terrorism, cybersecurity and violent extremism.
“The participants chose the leadership, hospitality and initiative of Pakistan to foster the diplomacy of defense so inclusive and with vision of the future,” said the ISPR.
In addition, he added: “This strategic convergence reflects Pakistan’s lasting commitment to a safe, interconnected and cooperative region, anchored in shared security interests and regional solidarity.”
The United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, praised on Friday the role of regional peace in regional peace at a meeting with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, on Friday.
“Pakistan has always played a positive role in global and regional peace,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Secretary of State of the United States, while the United States Department of State said he expressed his appreciation for the continuous will of Pakistan to play a constructive role in the mediation of conversations with Iran and his commitment to preserve regional stability.

Separately, the Government conferred the Nishan-Iimtiaz (military) award to the Army General Michael Kurilla, commander of the United States Central Command (Centcom), “in recognition of its exemplary service and its fundamental role in the advance of the lasting military cooperation between Pakistan and the United States,” the ISPR announced in a statement.
In a formal ceremony held in the Presidency, President Asif Ali Zardari conferred the decoration with the Kurilla gene, recognizing his contributions to regional security and his efforts to reinforce the strategic defense ties between Islamabad and Washington. Upon arrival, an honor guard was presented to the head of Centcom.
“The visionary leadership of General Kurilla has been fundamental to promote mutual understanding, improve defense collaboration and deepen anti -terrorism cooperation between the armed forces of Pakistan and Centcom,” reads the statement.
“Its constant commitment reflects a deep respect for the central role of Pakistan in the promotion of peace and stability throughout the region.”
According to the ISPR, the award conference represented the “deep appreciation for the unwavering support of General Kurilla” and affirmed the depth of Pakistan and the strategic ties of the United States.
The statement added that Gen Kurilla held detailed meetings with Pakistani civil and military leadership, including the president and COAS. Regional security, military commitment to military and joint efforts to combat terrorism were discussed among the issues.
“This high -level recognition underlines the lasting strategic relationship between Pakistan and the United States and reaffirms its shared commitment to regional peace, security and long -term defense cooperation,” said the ISPR.
