Pakistan, China vow to deepen all-weather strategic cooperative partnership – Pakistan

Pakistan and China reaffirmed on Tuesday their commitment to strengthen their “strategic cooperative association Replacera and All Wage” through improved cooperation, reflecting their unique bilateral relationship.

Pakistan and China share a long -standing strategic association with ties that go in different sectors, including trade, energy, defense and infrastructure.

Bilateral ties and cooperation were discussed at a meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chinese President Xi Jinping in the Great Hall of People out of the Summit of the Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) of the Head of State (CHS), held from August 31 to September 1.

“During the meeting, the two leaders agreed that the relationship between their countries was unique and incomparable, which should be reflected in their improved bilateral cooperation,” the state administration Associated Press of Pakistan (app) saying.

“Both leaders also discussed important regional and global developments and agreed to continue close cooperation between Pakistan and China in this regard.”

Prime Minister Shehbaz reaffirmed the desire to continue working closely with China for the successful implementation of the next phase of the China-Pakistan economic corridor (CPEC) improved, with its five new runners, according to the report.

“He congratulated President XI for the success of the SCO of Chiefs of the State Summit in Tianjin and offered his congratulations on the 80th anniversary of the World Antifascist War.”

Praise President Xi Jinping for his visionary and transformative leadership that has inspired China’s remaining trip towards modernization and progress, the prime minister said that Pakistan was proud of Beijing’s achievements and would always be ready to work along with China on this great trip.

He also appreciated China’s unwavering support for territorial integrity, the sovereignty and socioeconomic development of Pakistan, as well as the importance of CPEC as an emblematic project of the Belt and Road initiative of President XI’s career (Bri) to help both countries build a community of Pakistan-China even stronger with a shared future.

The Prime Minister praised the strong commitment of President XI to strengthen multilateralism and said that Pakistan fully supported China’s historical steps in this regard, including the Global Governance Initiative, the Global Development Initiative, the Global Security Initiative, as well as the Global Civilization Initiative.

“These initiatives would serve the global collective good and contribute to regional and global peace and development,” said Prime Minister in the report.

President XI said that China would continue to help Pakistan in all fields of economic growth and development, especially because the two countries now introduced in the second phase of CPEC, which would focus on the most important economic sectors of Pakistan.

Prime Minister Shehbaz renewed his “more cordial” invitation to President XI to make an official visit to Pakistan next year, when both countries would celebrate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of Pakistan-China diplomatic ties.
