A Pakistan Army team won the gold medal in the Cambrian Patrol-2025 exercise, held in Wales from October 3 to 13, according to a statement from the army’s media wing.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the exercise maintained its exacting professional standards, where patrols of militaries from around the world tactically move across 60 kilometers of inhospitable terrain in 48 hours, completing specialized tasks.
“This year, 137 teams from 36 countries participated in the exercise and of all these teams, [the] The Pakistan Army team, led by Captain Muhammad Saad, showed exceptional performance in the exercise and [was] awarded the gold medal,” the ISPR said.
“It is truly a moment of pride for the entire nation and [the] Pakistan Army, known for its professionalism and highest standards of training,” the statement added.
“The Pakistan Army has always maintained [the] The country’s flag is raised high and we will continue to strive in the future as well.”
Pakistan also won the gold medal in the exercise last year and in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
