The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, challenged India on Thursday to present evidence, if he had any, of the alleged participation of Pakistan in a deadly attack in occupied Kashmir.
Going to a press conference after a high -level meeting of the National Security Committee, FM Dar said: “India has played the guilt game again and again and if there is evidence of Pakistan’s participation [in Pahalgam]Please share it with us and the world. “
The attack took place in Pahalgam, a tourist access point in busy Kashmir that attracts thousands of visitors every summer. The gunmen opened fire against visitors, killing at least 26 people, all men from all over India, except one from Nepal, and wounding others 17. It was the most fatal attack in the region against civilians since 2000. In his press conference, FM Dar took out the decisions of the NSC and said that Pakistan had responded in kind to Indian ads. Giving said that Pakistan had noticed the arrival of some “foreign citizens” in Srinagar who were under monitoring by intelligence agencies.
“We know that Indian intelligence is supporting them and that foreigners are trying to export IED (improvised explosive devices). You can imagine where they are trying to export them,” he said, and added that Pakistan’s armed forces were ready to respond to any challenge.
“We are prepared with respect to the defense. If someone tries to try any adventure, then they have also tried in the past [and failed] So this time it will be even worse for them. ”
Asif said that although India had not appointed Pakistan directly for the incident, the Indian media and other interested parties blamed the country.

Citing the example of the Indian spy Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav, who was arrested in Pakistan in 2016, Asif said there was a series of incidents in the last 15 to 20 years that showed that India played a role in terrorism in Pakistan.
He said that groups like TTP and Bla were representatives of India who had declared war on Pakistan. “India is already fighting a low intensity war through terrorists against us,” he said.

Speaking about the legal aspects of India’s announcement, Agp Awan, an active member of the team that deals with the IWT, said the treaty could not be suspended, much less than any of the parties do it unilaterally.
“If the treaty is going to end, then it would end an agreement between the two countries,” said the AGP.

Answering a question about which actions Pakistan would take to the escalations of India, FM Dar said that Pakistan would reflect to India.

In response to a question about what Pakistan would do in response if India stopped the water, he said he would be equivalent to an “act of war.”

In response to a question about whether China would help Pakistan, FM Dar said that Pakistan didn’t need any help.
“We are taking our friends in confidence. However, we do not depend on someone to help us.
“Pakistan is prepared in every way,” said Dar, adding that Pakistan always talked about peace and promoted it in multilateral forums.
The Minister of Law Tarar said that the suspension provisions did not exist in the IWT. “India should not blame Pakistan for his security failures and evade responsibility without any tangible and admissible evidence.”
Meanwhile, the information minister said that India’s response was “childish and immature.”
“Legally, they did not read the document, nor tried to find the legal motives,” said the minister, adding that he saw hollow threats yesterday from the Indian side.
“The whole world knows this clearly that India has been using terrorism to victimize,” he said.
“We are a first -line state against terrorism. You have been exposed. Everyone knows that terrorism sponsors Pakistan […] Now he is using it for his political advantage, ”he said.

Separately, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s prime minister Sardar Ali Amin Gandapur presided over the 31st meeting of the provincial cabinet, during which he strongly condemned the recent Pahalgam incident.
When describing the event as deeply unfortunate, Gandapur reaffirmed that the nation was united to safeguard Pakistan’s national interest and territorial integrity.
CM Gandapur criticized the response of the Indian government to the incident, labeling it “aggressive, unfortunate and unacceptable.” He affirmed that the Indian authorities tried to exploit Pahalgam’s incident as part of a “deliberate conspiracy for Malignan from Pakistan.”
He stressed that the incident highlighted the failures and incompetence of the Indian government.
Expressing sadness for the loss of lives, Gandapur accused the Indian leadership of using inflammatory rhetoric against Pakistan to cover up his internal deficiencies.
Gandapur warned that any act of aggression under the appearance of this incident would find a resolved and strong response. “We are fully prepared to defend our country,” he said, “and we will not hesitate to make the sacrifice necessary to protect our sovereignty.”
