Overseas Pakistani woman attacked in Lahore’s factory area: police – Pakistan

A Pakistani woman abroad was attacked by assailants on Monday in Lahore factory area, police said.

According to a statement issued by the Police, the deputy of the Police Lahore Police (DIG), Faisal Kamran issued notices and requested a report from the Lahore Police Superintendent (SP).

“Joint teams have been formed to track the suspects about Dig Kamran’s instructions,” the statement said, adding that a team would look for the reckey point route to the incident using safe city cameras, while the other team would track the path of suspects using images of private cameras of CCTV.

The images that circulate on social networks showed a woman being attacked by an armed man who attacked the victim.

Police received a call on the incident at 3:40 pm, said the DIG operations spokesman’s statement, added that the police department in question immediately reached the place after receiving the call.

All media, including Safe City, were being used to catch the suspect, according to the statement, citing excavation operations.

“The suspect will be arrested as soon as possible and taken before justice,” said Dig Kamran.
