The researchers confiscated more than 120 terabytes of child sexual abuse of a residence in northern California on Thursday, according to the Sheriff’s Office of the Solano County.
The operation, carried out by the Sheriff’s Office in collaboration with the probation of the Solano County and the Vacaville Police Department, also led to the confiscation of more than 20 computers, a server and multiple anti-forens and pirate tools in the Vallejo house.
“To put the amount of data in perspective. 1 TB of data is approximately 120 hours of video HD,” said the Sheriff’s office on Facebook.
The investigation was derived from a serious crime of previous sexual aggression in the sweeping of the street, a continuous effort to combat the crimes of sexual aggression.
After this case, the Sheriff’s office announced on Monday that its investigations office has begun to make Internet crimes against cases of children with a full -time researcher.
The authorities have not published more details about possible arrests or charges related to the case.
The researchers did not immediately respond to a request for comments from NBC News.
