Old Dutch potato chips recalled due to allergen issue


Old Holch Foods is remembering a flavor of his creditis chips on allergen of not declared milk.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) Recovery warning Flagas sour cream, green onion and bacon flavor fries because milk allergen can be present but is not declared on the label.

“Do not use, sell, serve or distribute the affected product,” said the agency on Wednesday.

The affected products were available in the size of 200 grams.

As a memory of “Class 2”, the agency points out “there is a moderate risk that consuming food can lead to short -term health problems or non -lives that threaten life.”

The products under retirement were distributed in Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, New Scotland, Ontario, Prince Eduardo Island, Quebec and possibly other provinces and territories, according to CFIA.
