New York City has officially become the first city in the country to implement a congestion charge for any vehicle entering midtown Manhattan. The tax has been in place for decades in other parts of the world and officials say it has provided benefits by easing traffic and curbing pollution. NBC’s Emilie Ikeda reports in this week’s Sunday Focus.
