Zaman defeated Ameeshenraj Chandran de Malaysia yesterday to reach the final after Chandran retired during the third game of the last four while he continued 6-11, 2-11, 4-6.

Torey, who defeated the seed Ibrahim Elkabbani, was in two games in the final with Zaman in search of postponement, took the Egyptian game.

Zaman had the advantage in the fourth set, surpassing El Torey 11-5.
