Night travel banned in Balochistan – Pakistan

Quetta: The Baluchistan government has imposed the prohibition of the movement of public transport vehicles during the night, was announced on Tuesday.

Public transport will not be able to operate on roads throughout the province of 5 pm to 5 am the route permits of the companies that violate the prohibition will be canceled.

The decision was announced during a meeting chaired by Muhammad Hayat Kakar, the Secretary of Provincial Transportation, Tuesday.

Transporters representatives attended the meeting. The meeting decided to enforce the directives of the Department of Origin that restrict night trips.

Kakar said that all attached commissioners throughout the province had received instructions to take measures to stop public transport operating during the night.

Transporters have aimed to install trackers in their vehicles, deploy security guards and comply with government non -slip measures.
