• Beach plays Richard Grenelll’s Pro-PTI comments, he says he may have been ‘deceived’
• The government offers support when US investors Eye Pakistan for investments in several areas
Islamabad: An associate from the president of the United States, Donald Trump, who currently leads a delegation of investors to Pakistan to explore business opportunities, said Wednesday that the US administration has only respect for the titular leadership of Pakistan, directed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Gentry Beach, who also met Prime Minister Shehbaz, made these comments at a press conference when journalists asked him questions about Richard Grenelll, the envoy of Trump’s special missions in the new administration, who had tweeted in support of the chief of PTI imprisoned Imran Khan, moving controversy.
The American investor said that Grenell “may have been deceived” about Pakistan. “Personally, he told me that there are a number of deep presentations, the internet … is not true or real,” he said in response to a question.
According to Mr. Beach, Mr. Grenell had a very defined view and “supports everything we are doing in Pakistan.”
“I believe [Grenell] I probably have a better understanding today than previously of the current situation here … I have not seen evidence that our administration in the United States has nothing more than respect for its leadership here. Period, ”he added.
‘Millions of dollars’
Beach said that the president of the United States, Donald Trump, believed in economic diplomacy and that his continuous visit was part of that effort. “We plan to invest billions of dollars in Pakistan in several different areas, including critical minerals and real estate […] From a real estate perspective, we brought our real estate development partners, and I will build some of the highest -end and luxury properties never seen in Pakistan, ”he added.
He also mentioned energy, technology, artificial intelligence and other areas that needed attention and investment.
Beach said there were great investment opportunities in Pakistan with an incredible base of intelligent people, which he said “overlooked” in the past, in various fields.
“We see Pakistan as one of the greatest global opportunities [ … ] Which is very unique, ”he said.
Beach said he had remained very close to the Trump administration for a long time, and that now the United States was entering a new era of peace and prosperity under the leadership of President Trump.
He said that the leadership of the United States and Pakistan shared the same vision of peace and prosperity, noting that during the last four years, “we have all been under attack” and criticize the Policies of the Biden administration.
“These are the things that President Trump is cleaning, and has brought the right team to address them. I think that his leadership in this country is very aligned and related ideas, and I think it is very important that we build a strong bridge between the two groups, ”he said while remembering the strong historical ties between the two countries.
Govt offers support
Separately, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of his government to facilitate foreign investors by guaranteeing a conducive business environment, simplified processes and robust institutional support.
In a meeting with a delegation of international investors led by Mr. Beach, the prime minister stressed the unique attraction of the country as a global investment destination, highlighting its strategic location, the qualified and youthful workforce, and the rapid expansion of the market of the market of consumption.
Discussing the dynamic investment panorama of Pakistan and the promising economic potential, he expressed his gratitude for the great interest of the delegation in exploring business opportunities in Pakistan.
Beach praised the immense economic potential of Pakistan and transmitted the enthusiasm of his delegation to explore various investment opportunities in key sectors, including miners and minerals, renewable energy, infrastructure and technology development.
He acknowledged the Policies Pro Inversion of the Government and expressed his confidence in the future growth trajectory of the nation.
