The World’s Happiest Workplaces 2025 list released on Tuesday named Nestle, Unilever and Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) among Pakistan’s happiest workplaces, according to a press release.
The list was compiled by WorkL, an employee experience platform that rates employee engagement and happiness at work.
According to the press release, the happiest workplaces in Pakistan also included Bank Alfalah, Pakistan Super League (PSL), Karachi University, Pakistan State Oil, Alltech, HBL Bank, Meezan Bank, Pakistan Petroleum, Jadeed and Factory X .
Pakistani workplaces that achieved an overall happiness score of 95 percent were Titanicofficial, Unique Cycle Industry, Zong, Fazal Paper Mills, Infiniti Software, Bestway Cement, MCB Bank Limited, Mobilink, Flip Communication, Bank of Punjab and Attock Refinery Limited.
In first place globally, South Africa’s DiFusion Technologies achieved a 100% happiness score, followed by The Pavilion Shopping Center in second place and US-based Avis Budget Group in third place.
More than 100,000 organizations applied for its 2025 awards, according to the press release.
He also said that more than one million employees took the Happy at Work test for their organization to participate in the awards.
The anonymous test looked at several areas: well-being, job satisfaction, reward and recognition, information sharing, empowerment and instilling pride, he said, adding that organizations that scored 70 or above were included in the list.
