MQM-P plays down internal rifts

Karachi: The internal divisions within the Muttahida Qaumi Pakistan movement were under the public focus when two groups organized a protest and a back cover with each other in their temporary headquarters in Bahadurabad.

They sought an explanation for a recent decision by the President of MQM-P, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, through which he not only assigned responsibilities to the members of his central committee, but also made the governor of Sindh Kamran Tessori “Caregiver” of party legislators at the Sindh Assembly. .

The situation became very intense when several MQM-P workers reached the Bahadurabad headquarters apparently to counteract Kamal-Kaimkhani’s loyal. However, he said a source, a better meaning prevailed when the main leader Iftikhar Alam instructed the Protestant workers to leave the facilities.

Later, a group of people, including women and children, holding banners registered with slogans that include ‘Khalid Maqbool Humari Line Red HainIt emerged at the headquarters of Bahadurabad, where they organized a protest against Mr. Kamal and Mr. Kaimkhani.

The main leader Mustafa Kamal told the media that he had challenged the “Status Quo forces.”

On the protest of his loyal and images, he explained what was seen in the footage within the headquarters of the party was only a discussion of the party workers, since the party had given some responsibilities. He added that asking questions and singing slogans was a democratic right.

However, regarding the protest against, he said they should be grateful that the MQM-P headquarters were closed when the protesters arrived.

Closed doors meeting

Another source of MQM-P said Sunrise that certain quarter made the senior leadership of MQM-P attend a closed doors meeting in a ‘safe house’ in the southern district of Karachi in an attempt to eliminate their differences when they were informed about the protest against Mr. Kamal and Mr. Kaimkhani.

As a result, the MQM-P issued a statement and rejected reports of differences such as “invented and manufactured.”

“According to a planned conspiracy, attempts are being made to damage the unit within the MQM,” he said, adding that unscrupulous elements wanted to face the workers of MQM-P.

He also declared that the leadership of the party was united and asked the party workers to remain united and not fall prey to any propaganda.

Also on Sunday, a meeting of MQM-P legislators was held at the headquarters of the match in Bahadurabad. The meeting was chaired jointly by Dr. Farooq Sattar and Mr. Kaimkhani to give a clear message of unity.
