The locals organizing a sitting against an alleged strike of drones in Mir Ali last week, claiming the lives of four children, announced on Tuesday that they finished their protest after having reached an agreement with the local administration.
During the last seven days, Mir Ali’s locals had been organizing a sitting, demanding justice following a strike suspicion that took place in the Hurmuz village of Mir Ali on May 19 during the day, leaving four children of the same dead family and hurting another five, including a woman. While the wing of the media, the public relations between services (ISPR) clarified that the security forces were “falsely involved” in the incident and was carried out by the forbidden Pakistan of Tehreek-I-Taliban (TTP).
Allama Iqbal Dawar, one of the organizers, said Dawn.com That after a series of conversations held between the protesters and the officials, both parties reached an agreement on Monday night.
The bodies of the deceased have been buried, and the roads previously blocked by the protesters are now open, while the officials will meet the affected families and announce the compensatory measures soon.
In addition, Mufti Baitullah, spokesman for the Jirga, also announced the agreement while heading to the protesters in a video seen by Dawn.com. Baitullah was seen praising the members of Jirga for playing a positive role in the whole matter.

Similarly, Mir Ali Tehsildar Sher Bahadar said Dawn.com that had reached a four -point agreement. However, he didn’t give more details either.
However, the attached commission of Waziristan del Norte, Mohammad Yousuf Karim, told local media that he had held exhaustive conversations with tribal leaders, assuring them that the government and the army would provide “serious attention” to the safety of residents during operations against militants.
Last week, the local elders had threatened to march to Islamabad to protest against the unmanned aircraft strike in case their demands were not met.
