Militant, 4 others held in 2 Manipur districts | India News


Imphal: Security Forces arrested five people, including a militant, from Manipur’s Kangpokpi and Kamjong’s districts on Saturday. Four of those, caught from Bimarao In Kangpokpi, they were reported that they worked under a picture of the proscribed Kuki National Front (P).
In the Kamjong Kultuh village along the Indian-Myanmar border, the forces arrested an active picture of the Faboor Furp of the popular liberation army, said a police officer. A gun and a grenade were in their arms recovered from their power. Meanwhile, several weapons and ammunition were “voluntarily delivered by the public” in five districts of the state of Northeast on Friday, police said.
