Lando Norris won a treacherous British Rain Grand Prize in Silverstone on Sunday McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.
Nico Hulkenberg de Sauber took third for the first podium of the German veteran in 239 start of the race.
The British Norris returned to an enthusiastic reception of his local fans while moving to eight Piastri points in the classification of drivers.

Piastri, who ended less than seven seconds behind Norris, threw the victory after the Australian was beaten with a penalty of 10 seconds by a security car infraction.

Lewis Hamilton de Ferrari arrived fourth ahead of the Polesitter Max Verstappen for Red Bull.
Piastri fell badly from the butlers when I slowed long before the security car took off, a decision that left Pastri feeling stolen.
“I’m not going to say much, I don’t want to get into trouble,” he said in the interview after the race. “Apparently, you can no longer stop the security car.”
For Hulkenberg, 37, this was a day to remember while he went up to the podium for the first time since he joined the F1 network in 2010.
“Podium – P3 Baby!” His ecstatic racing engineer said on the radio of the team after crossing the line.
“I don’t think I can understand what we just did,” the German replied.
Alpine de Pierre Gasly took sixth, with Lance Stroll (Aston Martin), Alex Albon (Williams), Fernando Alonso in the other Aston and George Russell (Mercedes) completing the Top 10.
