Bringing to the social media platform X, Mayawati pointed out the struggles of the mass population of India, citing inflation, poverty, unemploymentand inadequate basic facilities such as roads, water and education. He said that these problems should have been addressed through the budget.
“Due to the tremendous coup of inflation, poverty, unemployment in the country, along with the lack of necessary basic facilities such as roads, water, education, peace and comfort, the lives of people in India with a large population of approximately 140 million Rupias are quite worried, which must also be resolved through the Budget of the Union, “he said in X.

He accused the BJP government of following the same approach as Congress, questioning why people’s difficulties continue under their government. “But the budget of the current BJP government, such as Congress, seems to be more about political interests and less about people and the country. If this is not so, why are the life of people also continuously worried, miserable and unhappy under this government? “He said in X.

Mayawati also emphasized that the vision of a “developed India” must include the well -being of the Bahujan community.
Meanwhile, the deputy of Congress, Jairam Ramesh, also criticized the Minister of Finance, pointing out the rejection of proposals such as adding breakfast to school meals and increasing the honorary for Anganwadi workers under Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0.
Ramesh said the budget was biased towards the state of Bihar governed by Nda while ignoring other states such as Andhra Pradesh.
“Bihar seems to have an advertisement bonanza. It is natural since the elections are there later in the year. But why the other pillar of the NDA, namely Andhra Pradesh, has been so cruelly ignored?” He said Ramesh in X.

The opposition parliamentarians organized a strike in the Lok Sabha when the Minister of Finance began reading his record of eighth budget speech.
The protests were led by parliamentarians of the Samajwadi party, including the head of the Akhilesh Yadav party, who asked the government to release the list of those who died in Mahakumbh’s stampede. After this, the opposition parties demanded a discussion about the incident before leaving in protest.
