On Tuesday, Canada’s Finance Minister will announce his long-awaited budget.

It is Mark Carney’s first time as Prime Minister and he arrives at a time of instability.

and uncertainty for the country. Trade negotiations with the United States are on pause and pressure continues to stimulate economic growth while cutting spending and making life more affordable for Canadians.

Carney’s minority government also needs the support of other parties to pass the budget. And if not, we could be facing another election.
