Maria Shriver would like to clarify the record about the differences between her son and the character she plays in “The White Lotus.”
Patrick Schwarzenegger, Shriver’s son with the former governor of California and the legend of Action film Arnold Schwarzenegger, plays Saxon Ratliff, a toxic southern finance brother who has had some amazing scenes in the current season of HBO’s blow.
“Patrick is not like Saxon,” Shriver told Savannah Guthrie on April 1. ” I just want to clarify that because people say: ‘Is Patrick as Saxon?’ I’m like, ‘Do you think I would have raised a Saxon?’ “
Schwarzenegger, 31, has also experienced fans who combine him with Saxon, who said he is a “strange and spooky guy” in an interview with Today.com in March.
He said that after a naked scene in episode one, someone asked: “Friend, do you really like your brother?”
“No!” Schwarzenegger replied. “But you can’t control what everyone thinks.”
From incestuous moments to the naked scene that caused Arnold Schwarzenegger Bomee that “the apple does not fall far from the tree,” Saxon has been a character of the dark comedy about the privileged guests in an impressive resort in Thailand.
Shriver joked by saying that the launch of his new book, “I am Maria”, is being eclipsed by his son’s role.
“I will change the name of the book (a) ‘I am Patrick’s mother,” he said, “because everything anyone wants to talk to me is Saxon.”
At least he has been able to prepare for some of his son’s most racial scenes in the program, including the naked scene.
“I knew that would come,” Shriver said. “He warned me, but he really didn’t warn me. That’s between Patrick and I. He warned me, but he won’t tell me.”
Shriver is as absorbed in this season of “The White Lotus” as everyone else. She is anxiously waiting for the end of the season on April 6.
“I hope Saxon doesn’t die this weekend,” he said. “I don’t know. I don’t know. I really don’t know. I swear in my mother, I don’t know.
“I have changed all my book tour to be at home to see the end,” he continued. “I want to have a visualization party, but he told me that I had to work, so I’m going to have my visualization party without Saxon.”
She is also a proud mother after her son’s career reached a new peak.
“I’m very happy for him,” said Shriver. “He has worked very hard. He takes acting classes, is very rejected, and this is finally the role of his life. And he is having a great time, and everyone wants to talk to me about it.”
