A man was sent in police custody for two days on Monday by allegedly assaulting sexually, raping, blackmailing and filming a woman in the Haripur district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, an official said.
“We have produced the suspect before the Court and obtained two days of police custody and launched more interrogations in the case,” said the officer of the Sarai Saleh Saleh (Sho) Police Station Shah Shah Dawn.com.

Sho Shah said: “After the order of the police officer of the Haripur district, Farhan Khan, the police took severe measures against the suspect and arrested him during a raid in the Mockarai area.”
He said that a lady was present during the raid that stopped the suspect in itself “to convey a message to society that women are being empowered.”
