A man accused in the armed robbery of an exotic dancer in Arizona five years ago has been accused of murder, kidnapping and other crimes in his horrible murder of 2023, the judicial records obtained the show on Tuesday.
Cudjoe Young, 29, was accused of positions of first -degree murder, kidnapping, caused, robbery and robbery by armed with a deadly weapon in the murder of April 16, 2023, murder of Mercedes Vega, a copy of the accusation shows.
A second suspect, Sencere Hayes, was accused of Vega’s murder last year and accused of July 24 for the same positions as young people, as well as to hinder the prosecution, according to the accusation.

Vega, 22, was allegedly kidnapped from the parking lot of his apartment building on the night of April 16. His car, a Dodge charger, was later found abandoned nearby, and was found beaten, triggered and burned in the back seat of a Chevrolet Malibu in an interstate east of Phoenix in the previous hours of April 17.

Young’s trial in theft and attempted robbery was scheduled to start on Tuesday, but tried to eliminate his lawyer and now represents himself, said his former lawyer.
That lawyer, Burges McCowan, said in an email that will remain in the case as Young Advisor Advisor.
McCowan declined to comment on the accusations.
The Maricopa County Sheriff, which investigated the case, requested conspiracy charges related to the murder and kidnapping of Vega. According to a probable cause statement filed last month, Young supposedly paid two people to collect the Malibu in which Vega’s body was found after it was bought through an online seller in March.
The authorities suggested that he could also have bought the plane tickets of his coacked from Tennessee to Arizona.
